At our center, established in 2021, our experienced team is committed to providing an unparalleled experience and quality diving instruction. Our welcoming facilities are located in an idyllic seaside setting.
Fulfill your dream of becoming a diver with our PADI courses, from Open Water to Instructor level, as we are a PADI IDC dive center (Instructor Development Course). Our course director and qualified instructors ensure that you receive the best training and support during your apprenticeship. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of our protected marine park, accompanied by our experienced and passionate multilingual guides. Here, marine life is abundant.

Our facilities
The DUNE Mexico dive center in Cozumel offers a complete diving experience.
Located right by the sea, just a few minutes from downtown San Miguel, it boasts an ideal location overlooking the turquoise sea.
As soon as you arrive, you'll be greeted by our dynamic team, who will show you around the facilities and explain how the day will unfold.
A designated equipment preparation area gives you the chance to try on and check your equipment before each dive.
The dive boats are secure and equipped with safety equipment.
Classrooms are available for training, with audiovisual equipment and manuals for optimal learning.
After the dives, divers can relax in the indoor and outdoor areas or at the beach club directly in front, with showers, changing rooms and shaded areas. For a comfortable stay, the center offers two on-site accommodation options with garden pool, sun loungers and hammocks. The loading dock in front of the center makes it easy to set sail.
The center also features a rinsing basin, shower, secure equipment storage, a changing room and a magnificent view of the sea.
Overall, DUNE Mexico in Cozumel is the perfect choice for divers seeking a safe, comfortable and rewarding experience in the spectacular waters of the Cozumel Marine Park.

The Team
Our team at your service! A team of experienced instructors and course director with an infectious passion for scuba diving, are totally dedicated to providing you with a safe and memorable experience.
Their dynamism, dedication, and expertise in the field of recreational diving are remarkable. Whether it's guiding you out to sea, experiencing your very first breath of air underwater, basic training or specializing as a diver, they teach all levels up to Instructor in addition to the many Padi specialties.
The Club's multilingual staff speak French, English and Spanish to serve an international clientele.
As all our diving activities take place in marine parks regulated by the Mexican authorities, all divers must be accompanied by a local, authorized guide, regardless of their level.

Base Leader & Instructor
Itzel Zarate Blake, a dive instructor originally from Veracruz, is a true lover of adventure and nature. Passionate about the ocean and everything it offers, she has lived in Cozumel for 4 years, helping others discover the beauty of the underwater world. Active and sports-oriented, she believes in maintaining a balance between fitness and work for overall well-being. Itzel enjoys meeting new people and cultures, as each encounter brings unique lessons. Her goal is for every student to not only gain diving skills but also unforgettable memories.
Lucia
Front Desk & Marketing Manager
Lucía Di-Bella is a anthropologist with a deep passion for books and the sea. Her fascination with the ocean led her to study coastal communities in Ecuador, and after winning her first Green Gown Award, she discovered diving, her new obsession. With experience in research and data analysis, her love for marketing and diving grew stronger. Now, she aims to inspire more Mexican divers to explore underwater life through social media and science communication. If books could be read underwater, she’d happily live at the bottom of the ocean.

Instructor
César is from Baja California Sur, Mexico. A passionate lover of marine life and sharing the joys of diving, he started his diving journey at 19 and now dedicates his life to traveling the world to explore and share the ocean. As a PADI Instructor, he will be thrilled to guide you through your underwater learning experience and provide a comfortable, memorable time while making bubbles!

Director General Dune Mexico
Camille Laquerrière has been passionate about the ocean since childhood and serves as the General Manager and Course Director of Dune Mexico Blue Dream. With over 20 years of experience as a diving instructor in the Riviera Maya, he has certified more than 5,500 divers, including over 1,500 PADI professionals. In 2008, he became a Course Director, reinforcing his commitment to quality dive training. Since 2018, Camille has been part of Dune Mexico as a Course Director and technical diving trainer, before taking over as General Manager in July 2020. Beyond diving, he is also passionate about travel and wildlife photography, constantly seeking to capture the beauty of the natural world. His dedication to excellence and love for diving make Camille an invaluable asset to our center, ensuring unforgettable underwater experiences for our clients.

Camille Vauthey, the Swiss member of the group, has come to Mexico to share her love of the sea.
Far from her mountains, she has brought with her her passion for fish, her energy and her teaching skills.
A trainer at heart, what really makes her tick is the stars in her divers' eyes. She'll always have an anecdote to tell you about a fish she's met underwater!
