Expedition: 7 Days of Unforgettable Diving
Escape to the Riviera Maya with this ultimate 7-day dive package, featuring 14 dives across the region’s most stunning underwater sites.
Playa del Carmen (6 dives) – Ideal for warming up or getting back in the water, these reefs offer excellent visibility and diverse marine life. Experienced divers can explore deeper sites like the Mama Viña wreck.
Cozumel (4 dives) – Discover the breathtaking walls of the Marine Park, home to vibrant coral formations, sea turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and the endemic splendid toadfish.
Cenotes (4 dives) – Dive into ancient underwater caves formed millions of years ago. Experience crystal-clear waters, mesmerizing light effects, and otherworldly rock formations.
This package is designed for those looking to escape, explore, and immerse themselves in an extraordinary underwater adventure. Seven days of thrilling dives, incredible marine encounters, and breathtaking landscapes—turn your vacation into a true diving expedition!
Customize Your Adventure For experienced divers, an optional upgrade gives access to "Special Cenotes" known for their unique formations and challenging profiles with an addittional fee.
Classic Cenotes: Chac Mool, Dos Ojos, Chikin Ha Special Cenotes: El Pit, Angelita, Car Wash, Zapote, Gran Cenote, Tak Be Ha, Dreamgate, and more available on request.
Program and Schedule
Day 1 & 2 – Playa del Carmen Reef Diving
- Meet at 7:45 AM for morning dives or 12:00 PM for afternoon dives at Dune Mexico Dive Center.
- Explore Playa del Carmen’s reefs, perfect for getting comfortable with local conditions. Options for shallow or deeper dives, including sites like Mama Viña for experienced divers.
- Return around 12:00 PM (morning) or 2:30 PM (afternoon).
Days 3 & 4 – Cozumel Marine Park Diving
- Take the 8:00 AM ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel.
- Upon arrival, head to Dune Cozumel Dive Center for two days of breathtaking drift dives along Cozumel’s famous walls and reefs.
- Spot turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and the endemic splendid toadfish.
- Return to Playa del Carmen around 3:00 PM each day.
Days 5, 6 & 7 – Cenote Diving Adventure
- Meet at 7:45 AM at Dune Mexico Dive Center before heading into the jungle.
- Experience four incredible cenotes with crystal-clear waters, surreal rock formations, and mesmerizing light effects.
- Discover one of the world’s largest underwater cave systems in a truly unique dive environment.
- Return around 3:00 PM.
The schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to your preferences and logistics. We recommend starting with Playa del Carmen to ease into the conditions before tackling Cozumel’s drift dives and finishing with the serene beauty of the cenotes.

Instructor
Lucio Velasco Tadeo, originally from Oaxaca, has lived in Playa del Carmen for 19 years. He is a Catamaran Instructor and Windsurf Instructor, and started diving in 2004, becoming a certified instructor in 2009. In addition to his passion for water sports, he is a certified lifeguard and speaks some German and English. His dedication and experience in the water make him an excellent guide for those looking to explore the sea safely and enjoyably.

Vicente, our boat captain, is much more than just a sailor: he’s the true guardian of the oceans! With a smile as wide as the horizon and humor as refreshing as a sea breeze, he watches over our vessels with the discipline of a captain. When he's not navigating through the waves, he reminds us that the oceans aren’t trash bins and that even a small action matters in protecting them. In short, with Vicente at the helm, we feel safe, but always ready to laugh and discover the wonders of the sea!

Jonathan Hernandez is a cheerful, easy-going and helpful person, always ready to help and find solutions. In the logistics department, his analytical approach and observation skills allow him to optimize processes and improve workflow. He enjoys working in a team and coming up with ideas to improve efficiency. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing video games and spending time with his family.

Box Fish
The boxfish is a uniquely shaped fish with a boxy, armored body covered in hexagonal plates. Often found near coral reefs, they are slow swimmers but fascinating to watch as they hover and forage for food. With their vibrant colors and gentle nature, boxfish are a captivating addition to any underwater encounter.
Barracuda
The barracuda is impressive in that it sometimes stays still and waits for prey to approach during its hunting trips! With the adult measuring 80 cm in length on average, its streamlined silhouette and strong jaws make it clearly identifiable.
Eagle Ray
The eagle ray is a graceful, spotted marine ray known for its long wingspan and distinct, leopard-like spots. Often seen gliding through tropical waters, these rays are powerful swimmers, capable of making impressive leaps above the water. They feed mainly on mollusks and crustaceans, using their strong jaws to crush shells, and are a mesmerizing sight for divers.
