Water temperature and visibility, combined with the thriving underwater life of the coral reefs, make Playa del Carmen a top-quality year-round diving destination for both young and experienced divers. There's something for everyone: wrecks, drop-offs, drift dives, coral gardens...
Accompanied by our experienced professional guides, come and discover this jewel of Mexico. These dives are reserved for divers with at least Open Water PADI certification, Level 1 or equivalent.**
Program and Schedule :
Your diving experience begins as soon as you arrive at our center. Enjoy a cup of hot tea or coffee while you listen to the briefing, which covers safety instructions and details of the dive site for the day. Then our driver will take you to the boat to begin your adventure.
Your instructor will guide you every step of the way. All you have to do is swim calmly and keep your eyes wide open! Even at shallow depths, the underwater scenery is breathtaking and the marine life incredibly diverse.
Fruit and water are available between dives.
Don't forget that our morning dives are deep dives for certified divers, while the afternoon sessions are for shallow waters.

Omar
Driver & Tankero
Omar Molina, originally from La Venta, Tabasco, assisting with dive equipment maintenance, store support, and customer transportation. Always with a smile, he strives to provide a comfortable and safe experience for every visitor. Passionate about video games and sports, he enjoys the dynamic environment at Dune. He dreams of becoming a dive instructor or a tour driver and learns something new every day to get closer to his goal.
Killian
Instructor
Killian is from Bordeaux, France, where it’s too cold to work during the winter. After a couple of months in Playa del Carmen, he’s enjoying the warm weather and the lively diving scene. With 4 years of experience as an instructor, he’s also a lifeguard and has studied English literature. A CMAS, PADI, and SSI instructor, Killian loves exploring rocks and cenotes. He speaks English, French, and is learning Spanish to better connect with the local community and divers.
Mégane
Instructor
Mégane discovered diving in Mexico before heading to Bali, where she became an instructor after completing her Divemaster and IDC there. Now based in Playa del Carmen, she splits her time between the ocean and managing the dive center as Base Leader alongside Célia. Passionate, patient, and always smiling, she especially loves being underwater, where she can share her passion with divers of all levels.

Eagle Ray
The eagle ray is a graceful, spotted marine ray known for its long wingspan and distinct, leopard-like spots. Often seen gliding through tropical waters, these rays are powerful swimmers, capable of making impressive leaps above the water. They feed mainly on mollusks and crustaceans, using their strong jaws to crush shells, and are a mesmerizing sight for divers.
Bull Shark
The bull shark is a powerful, adaptable predator known for its ability to thrive in both salt and freshwater. Pregnant female bull sharks visit Mexico’s warm coastal waters near Playa del Carmen each winter, staying from November to March before migrating to freshwater areas to give birth. Their seasonal presence offers divers a rare chance to encounter these incredible sharks up close.
Nurse Shark
The nurse shark is a gentle, bottom-dwelling shark commonly found in warm, shallow waters. Known for their calm nature, nurse sharks pose no threat to humans and are often seen resting on the ocean floor during the day. Their docile behavior and distinctive appearance make them a favorite sight for divers and snorkelers.
