Dive deep into the heart of the Mexican Caribbean with our HORIZON 5-day dive package, a carefully crafted experience that showcases the region’s most breathtaking underwater sites. From colorful reefs to dramatic walls and ancient freshwater caverns, this package is designed for those who crave variety and exploration.
An Unforgettable Diving Adventure With 10 dives spread across five days, you’ll encounter a stunning range of marine environments:
2 dives in Playa del Carmen: Start your journey with lively coral reefs teeming with marine life. Depending on your skill level, you can opt for shallow dives or deeper sites with stronger currents. Fresh fruit will be provided between dives to keep you energized.
4 dives in Cozumel: Experience some of the world’s best drift diving along the dramatic walls of this renowned marine park. With crystal-clear waters and an abundance of marine species, every dive is an unforgettable spectacle.
4 dives in the Cenotes: Step into a world like no other—explore the mystical cenotes, where freshwater caverns reveal surreal rock formations and mesmerizing light effects, offering an experience that feels almost otherworldly.
Customize Your Adventure For experienced divers, an optional upgrade gives access to "Special Cenotes" known for their unique formations and challenging profiles with an addittional fee.
Classic Cenotes: Chac Mool, Dos Ojos, Chikin Ha Special Cenotes: El Pit, Angelita, Car Wash, Zapote, Gran Cenote, Tak Be Ha, Dreamgate, and more available on request.
Program and Schedule
Day 1 – Playa del Carmen Reef Diving
- Meet at 7:45 AM for morning dives or 12:00 PM for afternoon dives at Dune Mexico Dive Center.
- Explore the vibrant local reefs, with options for shallow or deeper dives.
- Return around 12:00 PM (morning) or 2:30 PM (afternoon).
Days 2 & 3 – Cozumel Marine Park Diving
- Take the 8:00 AM ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel.
- Upon arrival, head to Dune Cozumel Dive Center for a day of breathtaking drift diving along Cozumel’s famous walls and reefs.
- Finish around 3:00 PM before returning to Playa del Carmen.
Days 4 & 5 – Cenote Diving Adventure
- Meet at 7:45 AM at Dune Mexico Dive Center before heading into the jungle for an unforgettable cenote diving experience.
- Explore four stunning cenotes, where crystal-clear waters and surreal rock formations create a unique dive environment.
- Return around 3:00 PM.
The schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to accommodate your preferences and our logistics. We recommend starting with Playa del Carmen to get accustomed to local conditions before experiencing the currents of Cozumel and the serene beauty of the cenotes.

Cenote Guide & Instructor
Diane, originally from France, completed her IDC at Dune Playa del Carmen in 2021. A passionate diver since the age of 16, she fell in love with the cenotes and Caribbean life. As a cenote guide and PADI instructor, Diane shares her love for the ocean and the unique treasures of the Yucatán. Caring and considerate, she provides special attention to each diver, making every experience unforgettable.

Logistics & Operations Leader
Iván Rodríguez is a cheerful person and always carries a smile. Originally from Tabasco, he has lived in Playa del Carmen for 14 years. Proud father of two children, he is passionate about soccer, technology and video games. A nature and wildlife lover, he is always looking for moments to disconnect and enjoy the natural world. At Dune, he is in charge of the daily operation, ensuring that everything runs smoothly with dedication and attention to detail.

Jonathan Hernandez is a cheerful, easy-going and helpful person, always ready to help and find solutions. In the logistics department, his analytical approach and observation skills allow him to optimize processes and improve workflow. Box Fish
The boxfish is a uniquely shaped fish with a boxy, armored body covered in hexagonal plates. Often found near coral reefs, they are slow swimmers but fascinating to watch as they hover and forage for food. With their vibrant colors and gentle nature, boxfish are a captivating addition to any underwater encounter.
Eagle Ray
The eagle ray is a graceful, spotted marine ray known for its long wingspan and distinct, leopard-like spots. Often seen gliding through tropical waters, these rays are powerful swimmers, capable of making impressive leaps above the water. They feed mainly on mollusks and crustaceans, using their strong jaws to crush shells, and are a mesmerizing sight for divers.
Moray eel
A snakelike fish, the moray eel is a shy creature that does not completely show itself. Hidden away in rocks and corals and with a body measuring up to 3 metres in length, it is only very rarely seen. From between the rocky walls, it lashes out to attack its prey at lightning speed, trapping it between its serrated jaws.
